"WHAT?!?!"
As curious as she was about the way Gabriel spoke, she asked her mother about it once they got back. And she finds out that the three of them are planning to make her the queen.
"I did not hear about any of this!! Where is my opinion then?"
Madeline sighed, "It is not final. You are more of a candidate for the throne."
Caroline slumped on the couch in her mother's office.
She was feeling overwhelmed at this moment.
"Was the second prince the one who suggested it?" she couldn't help but ask.
Madeline puts down her pen, "What do you think?"
Caroline shook her head, "No. He does not seem like he was someone who would do such unnecessary things."
She just asked because he was the one who gave her the hint that something was going on.
"So it is you and brother," she sighed.
"You don't like it, sweetheart?" Madeline stood up and walked over to sit beside her.
