"Florence was just here a while ago."
Julian had just seated after his mother invited him for tea when she spoke of this.
But this tea is quite special as it was Esther herself who brewed it for the two of them.
"It seems that we have passed one another," he replied.
"When did you two last meet?" Esther asked.
"I think about two months ago? During one of the formal events back then. I became busy right after so we barely had the chance to meet,' Julian honestly replied.
Esther sighed.
It was a fact that the two were engaged due to one another as a means of political marriage.
They both knew one another since they were children and Longhurst dukedom was the most righteous dukedom within the kingdom. Having them as a close ally is a good factor in the foundation of the kingdom.
But even up to this point, the two merely showed that they will follow the will of their parents.
They were comfortable with each other but something stronger was lacking.
