The meeting room was very big. There was a large table in the middle of the room and a lot of chairs. There was already 13 person present inside the room. Alessia and her party and the Guild Master Roice was among them. Alessia happily called for Elena to sit beside her.
Elena was also comfortable with sitting beside Alessia as she was a very good girl in her opinion. After sitting Elena felt that everyone other than her acquaintances were looking towards her with amazement and irritation. They were suddenly designated as her enemy and she was able to read their thoughts.
Their amazement was because of her beauty and the irritation was because they thought she was a D rank weakling getting to be in this mission by using her body. Actually the Guildmaster have explained that Elena was a witness of the dungeon monster, not that she was the one who defeated it. That was the reason they thought she was nothing special in combat ability.
It was really disturbing thought for Elena as she hates if someone is slandering or underestimating her. But she still didn't do anything as it was troublesome to explain how she knew their thoughts and also because she was overwhelmingly stronger then everyone combined, so their thoughts were kinda worthless to her.
After some time more peoples entered the room and when all the chairs were filled the meeting started.
First one to speak was Roice, he mentioned-
"A high level dungeon have been found inside the forest. That is very close to the city and the oricle of Goddess of Wisdom also received a revelation about it with the instruction of destroying the dungeon instead of keeping it as a profitable business.
According to the A rank party [Azure Legion],who were incharge of investigating the dungeon, there was a peak A rank monster king at the very first floor. There are several dungeon where every floor is equily dangerous but there is also a possibility that this dungeon may have S rank monsters inside."
Hearing his explanation the faces of all the adventurer fell. A peak A rank was already too much for them not to mention S rank. A old man in knight's armour spoke up-
"Wait a minute. If there was a peak A rank, then did [Azure Legion] beat it? But I don't believe they have the strength to do so."
Hearing that Roice smiled a bit and said-
"Yes, Azure Legion was in some trouble because of this monster. And they were not responsible for it's defeat. The person who defeated the peak A rank monster is Elena, a D rank adventurer."
Roice pointed at Elena as he told that. All the person inside the room were stunned. A flashy looking woman stood up said-
"There is no way right? How can a mere D rank weakling beat such a monster. You're joking right?"
To answer her question the Guildmaster only said-
"Elena just registered in the guild day before yesterday. The only reason her rank is low is because she hadn't been an adventurer for very long. But in terms of strength she is way stronger than a peak A rank and possibly can match S ranks. So she will be working alongside you all to clear the dungeon as a solution against any S rank Monsters."
It was something that was very hard to believe for most of them. Elena just looked like a 20 years old very beautiful but weak looking girl. But as the guild master, who was a former A rank adventurer said so than that might just be the case. At least they wanted to believe that.
After a little bit more discussion, it was decided that the dungeon raiding team will go for it tomorrow morning. They have to make a lot of preparation because they doesn't know the size of the dungeon. So it may take them a long time. So having a high amount of ration is a must.
After the decision was made there was only one thing left to do. And that was to choose a leader. Roice naturally nominated Elena as the leader and Alessia supported it wholeheartedly. Other B rank parties also didn't object. But again the Old knight objected-
"I don't agree with this. We know nothing about her capabilities so I can't put my life on her hands."
This man was the leader of the second A rank party [Five Armaments] and an A rank adventurer himself. Elena replied to his objection-
"I also think it will be hard for you to suddenly believe a unknown person, so your objection is valid. But I do want to take the lead for this mission so if you have any way by which you can be satisfied, like sparing or going to a mission together to check my capabilities, then let me know about it."
Elena really wanted to take the lead as she knew that there will definitely be S rank or even higher grade monsters there, but she still wanted to use those monster to train Alessia and her team. She requested this of Elena just before she left the guild yesterday. So to keep everyone safe she must be the leader.
Hearing her reply, a vulgar smile appeared on Drago, the old knight's face. He said-
"Yes yes, you can prove your capability by having a fight with me. Haha, but that will not be on the field but on bed. Oh, but if you're into doing it in the field then I don't mi-"
Before he could finish his words Drago find something whooshing pass his ear. No, not passing his ear but taking it. Blood started to come out from his side of the head. But even before he could understand what happened and felt the pain, he was lifted up by his throat and he felt a impact hitting his groins and fainted immediately after losing his manhood.
Yes, his objection was valid. Yes, he had the right to not leave his life in a stranger's hand. But that was that and this is this. Elena may be kind, even overly so but she is not someone who can take insults sitting down.
It was almost like her reflex. Before she knew it she had already thrown a sword aura toward Drago. She still barely have the sense to not kill him so she just took an ear as payment. That was not enough to satisfy her rage, so she also ended up lifting him up from the chair holding his throat and kicking his balls to oblivion.
Other members of his team also attacked back quickly, just being stunned for a few moments, showing that they were a obviously members of an A rank party. The mage tried to use high ranking magic, the thief attacked with a pair of daggers. And the brawler punched her with all his might. Only the Healer did nothing.
But all of them were able to achieve absolutely nothing. Instead they were all beaten to a pulp. Only the Healer was safe because she didn't attack. But now she was cowering in fear along with other B rank teams' men and even the guild master. On the other hand most of the females were looking at Elena with stars in their eyes. Elena is probably going to get a lot of little sisters after this.
But with this absolute show of domination, Elena was able to become the leader for the expedition with full support. Then all the adventurer and Elena left the guild to make preparations for upcoming adventure.
