Early in the next morning Elena was waiting infront of the South gate. She was in a good mood as the talk with the merchants went really well last evening. She was able to gain several useful Informations.
At first, the merchant tried to get close to Elena as she was an extraordinary beauty so they wanted to have information about her. They also thought that she might be someone important and having more connections is never a bad thing.
But as they conversed more, Elena's out of the box thinking and profound knowledge about various things were fascinating to the merchants. She also gave them some special potions and weapons she created using her techniques from another world. The technological level for low level artifacts and potions were actually a bit more advanced in this world then Elena's old world. But still new techniques have their own advantages.
So all in all, having a very fruitful conversation with merchants Elena was in a very good mood. She wake up and came to the gate quite early so no other person was present there except her who was part of the expedition.
As Elena was waiting for them to show up, the first party to come was a B rank party called [White Bloom]. They greeted Elana and after that one party after another came. The last party to come was the two A rank party.
Drago and his party were in a very awkward situation. He had lost all his dignity as an A rank adventurer and his party consisting of two A rankers were completely destroyed. But still he had to do what he had to do. So he went to Elena alongside his teammates and apologized to her.
They were actually grateful to Elena too as after the beating, Elena actually healed all their injuries. The injuries they had were bad enough that their Healer was not able to heal them completely. But as they were a necessary force for the dungeon dive, Elena healed them all.
Elena was not a petty person so, she forgave them easily. She can feel that they were genuine with their apology. Then when everyone was present, they left for the dungeon.
The entrance of the dungeon was a cave in the middle of the forest. Reaching the place, first Elena called for a meeting. The objective of the meeting was to decide the formation, who will take the lead frontline fighters or thieves, should there be a rotation system or all teams should participate from start to end etc.
After discussing this among themselves and getting Elena's permission, it was decided that the 4 B rank parties would take the lead and 3 other parties would act as backups. Both the A rank parties would be incharge of defeating any A rank Monsters that would show up. Elena would not act unless someone was on the verge of death and would also be incharge of taking care of the S rank or higher Monsters.
After solidifying the plan they all finally entered the dungeon. The first floor was dark with only a little light coming from the glowing moss on the wall. The layout of the dungeon was just like the inside of a cave and the path was also straight without any curves.
There were no traps on this straight path but soon they reached another entrance. Entering that they found themselves in a large stadium like place with high ceiling. As soon as they entered this place a lot of monsters noticed them.
Most of the monsters were C ranks but there was also a few B ranks among them. For now there was only 3 B rank monsters so, Elena let [White Bloom], [Midnight Hunter] and [The Exterminator], these three B rank parties to kill them and other 2 parties to clean up the C ranks. She also send one more B rank party to support them as the number of C rank monsters were very high.
As everything was going without a hitch suddenly a large monster appeared from the other side of the stadium. This monster was a large bipedal wolf about 5-6 meter tall. Elena checked that this was an A rank monster of level 255. With this monster there was 5 more B rank and several more C rank monsters.
Elena let remaining two B rank parties to attack the C rank monsters. All the B ranks were left to [Five Armaments] and [Azure Legion]. And only Alessia was send to fight the A rank monster alone.
Even tho Five Armaments have two A rankers in Drago, a knight and Rishia, a mage, both of them were low grade A rank adventurer with level of 255 and 252 respectively. So in one on one they both will be weaker than the monster. Only Alessia, a high grade A rank adventurer at level 273 can match it alone.
After that there was no more unexpected trouble. Alessia was able to kill the bipedal wolf easily. And the reinforcement it brought with it were also decimated by the members of the A rank parties.
After completely killing all the monsters in that room, they took a short break to rest. Elena was keeping all the monsters corpse inside her inventory so they don't have to worry about dismantling for now. Getting the rest, they once again started heading toward the exit of the stadium like structure, from where the bipedal wolf came in.
After leaving the stadium they find themselves once again in a straight path. The only difference was that, this time there was several traps like pitfall or hidden arrow traps. So the thieves and rangers were the vanguard this time. Again same as before there was a entrance and inside another stadium like structure but even larger than before. So, obviously the monster were stronger and their numbers were also higher.
There was again only one A rank monster who looked like a tiger made of gold but the level was a bit higher at level 265. Number of B rank monsters were about 20, a lot more than the previous stadium. But with perfect coordination between all the team this place was also cleared methodically.
The third straight passageway have hidden monsters in addition to the traps. So frontline fighters were sent as guard with the thieves. And same as before thers was a level 275 large mantis in the stadium. This time Alessia alone was not strong enough to kill this monster so she fought this monster alongside her whole team and later after getting some advice from Elena she was able to kill it. There was two level 249 monsters who were taken care of by Drago and Rishia. They also got some advice from Elena and was able to improve themselves. Others were incharge of clearing out other B and C rank monsters.
After cleaning this place, when they reached the exit, they show that this time instead of a door to more straight passageways, there was the stairs, taking them to the second floor.
They have cleared the first floor of the dungeon. Now it was time to challenge the second one.
