Knowing that Nari was pissed at him for using underhanded tactics in their past two matches, Alex decided to give Nari a win, and quickly approached her after the race was over, suggesting they go to the batting cages for a little extra competition.
Though she was incredibly irritated at the man for "cheating" twice now, Nari ultimately decided that she would get back at him in the third match. Which once they had entered the batting cages, put on their helmets, and set the pitching machines into motion, she was astounded by the fact that Alex seemingly had no baseball skills whatsoever.
With every swing, Alex missed the ball while she herself connected. At first, she thought that she was getting the better of him for the first time since they had met, and grinned. But then she noticed that he kept looking her way, and realized that Alex was deliberately throwing the match so she could have the win.
