Chapter 2 - She's Gone Crazy!

The man merely raised his eyebrows, that action sent Abigail's heart jumping in her chest, almost on the verge of breaking out of her body.

She stared at the man for a long time, so long that even the man thought she had somehow gone crazy. She never thought she was crazy despite living in a mental asylum all her life. Even then, she would obediently eat her pills because they made her feel better, not because she wanted to get better since she thought she was already the world's most intelligent girl in the world!

The only issue with her was those freaking mood swings that came out of nowhere!

But… BUT….

This moment right here made her feel like she had gone crazy for the first time in her life! How could she even think that Nicholas came out alive? This person could be anyone who looked similar to him.

But, Oh my~ he looks so delicious! Even the man with glasses couldn't be compared to this person. Nicholas had practically descended from the heavens just to please her eyes!

Abigail's eyes were practically screaming with lust as she stared greedily at the man, as he furrowed his brows. The man coughed and said to his assistant at the back, "William, send her to the villa assigned earlier."

Huh?

William?!

That all-rounder, eye candy of an assistant to the side character who died in the first three chapters along with Nicholas? He was here too?

Abigail didn't know what was happening, but the chances of encountering two people looking like the characters she created standing together under the same roof were less. Something was wrong.

But she didn't get to voice out her thoughts because the assistant behind her directly pushed her outside the door, dragging her away from the office.

In the elevator, as she was pushed inside, she stood there, dumbfounded and confused for a moment. When she recovered, she was already heading downstairs.

She turned over to the eye candy assistant who pushed up his glasses and continued to work on his tablet. She scooted closer and asked, "Psst… Where are you taking me?"

She asked for a reason. If the address was what she thought it was, she would be sure she transmigrated in her own novel!

She licked her lips and asked, "What's the address of that place?"

The man ignored her.

"Hey, why are you ignoring me like this?!" Abigail showed a displeased expression on her face. "I'm talking to you!"

William continued to ignore her as if she were an invisible ghost.

The more he ignored her, the more frustrated she became. In the end, just as the elevator door opened, she directly snatched the tablet and threw it to the ground. It seemed as if it wasn't enough to vent her frustrations.

So she stomped angrily over and over on the tablet so much that its glass cracked. When she saw it finally break apart, she calmed down and blinked as if she had just woken up from a maniac episode.

An awkward silence spread around the place as the assistant stared at the broken tablet on the ground in shock. It seemed that he hadn't expected her to act in this way as he stared at the ground.

Finally, he took a deep breath and suppressed traces of anger to the depths of his heart, and said, "You're Mrs. Harrison now. So you'd better keep up your image in public."

Abigail was already feeling guilty about breaking the tablet in a fit of anger. Her expression changed from being angry to timid in the blink of an eye, even surprising the assistant. So she didn't dare to utter a peep and nodded, standing there like an obedient student who was caught doing something wrong.

The assistant pressed the bridge of his nose and said, "Let's go."

He merely felt something was wrong with the lady, but he didn't care about it and merely threw that thought to the back of his head.

He swiftly opened the door and pushed the lady inside roughly, saying, "The driver will drop you off at your villa. You're not allowed to go anywhere without his permission."

Abigail frowned and before the door was about to shut, she instantly held the door and glared at the man. "Hey, I'm a lady!"

The assistant ignored her and shut the door with a thud, making her even angrier.

She instantly leaned against the door and started knocking the glass with a furious expression. From the outside, it almost looked like she was yelling at William from the inside of the car at the top of her voice. The muscles of her face contorted as she glared at the man in fury. The strength of her arms seemed to have increased as she hit the glass, making it tremble.

This lady…

He knew Miss Abigail was a little crazy, but this was just way too much. How come she transformed into a maniac all of a sudden?!

The assistant watched the car being driven away speechlessly as the lady's gaze fixated on him. Her gaze was so cold and icy that even a passerby felt a chill down his spine upon seeing her face.

But the assistant remained composed as he fixed his tie and turned back to the company, walking to the underground elevator.

He returned to the upper floor where his boss was working. After a gentle knock at the door, a cold voice vibrated from the inside. "Come in."

Willaim entered swiftly. His black hair pushed back, making him look elegant,

"Something's wrong with Abigail."

"Hmm?" Nicholas's voice remained cold as he raised his eyes, indicating the man to continue.

Cough. "She's gone crazy." He recounted everything from start to finish, even the fact that she broke his tablet and stomped on it.

"I think we should contact a psychiatrist."

Nicholas stared coldly at his assistant and said, "William, you really have too much time, don't you?"

"Uh…" William stood there awkwardly and said, "I was just suggesting…"

"No need. If she wants to break things, let her break. It'd be better if she ends up dying in the process."

"Okay."

"And go back. I'll send some files. Read through it if you're that free." Nicholas made a sarcastic comment, lowering his head to flip the page.

William didn't dare to stand anymore for fear of getting burdened with more work. He sneaked away from that place.
