With a nonchalant demeanor, Dave cast a casual look in my direction....
"Uh, haha, actually, my friends are quite familiar with her, so I suppose that's why their reaction seemed surprising," Dave offered, seeking to explain the situation to Samantha.
"So, what if they happen to know each other? What I'm trying to understand is when they mentioned 'Victor's Rina,' who exactly is Victor, and who is this person to Rina?" Samantha's curiosity prompted her to seek clarity.
