Victor gazed at his phone after Rina abruptly ended the call, his hand instinctively reaching for his forehead as stress weighed heavily on him.
Swiftly, he delved into his contacts to seek someone capable of investigating the situation and tracing the kids' location.
'How dare them do that to the kids!' he muttered with anger, then dialed the number of his reliable acquaintance...
Then the person picked up his call after just a couple of rings, evidently anticipating his call.
"Oh, Victor? I was just about to call you-----" the acquaintance began, but Victor interrupted him before he could complete his sentence.
"I need your help!" Victor asserted firmly, hastily getting dressed and leaving his room.
"Oh, something new? Haha, let me guess, you probably want me to investigate your wife again, right? Hahahaha," his acquaintance playfully teased, followed by laughter. However, Victor, not in the mood, ignored his remark.
