Rina's dad and Jeffrey found themselves at a loss for words, their emotions difficult to discern as they simply gazed at Venice, particularly Jeffrey, whose eyes seemed glued to her, as if there was an invisible force pulling him towards her.
Venice's discomfort was evident as she found herself under the prolonged scrutiny of the two men she had just met.
"Daddy, t-they're staring at me..and I'm not used to being looked at for so long," Venice whispered softly to Victor, her voice trembling with unease.
Although Venice's words were spoken in a hushed tone, they were still clearly audible to Rina's dad and Jeffrey. Upon hearing her, Rina's dad quickly averted his gaze, respecting her discomfort, while Jeffrey's stare still persisted.
