"Really, c-cute? Wow, I didn't know you had such a unique taste in dolls," Victor's uncle commented, his tone slightly forced, not entirely impressed with the doll his son had given as a gift.
"Wait a minute, grandad, I'll just get my old doll so I can compare them," Venice said. Victor's uncle quickly let her down from his arms, and she hurriedly ran to her toys, grabbing the doll Zendrick had given her.
"Wow, they look almost the same! And they're both cute, hehe!" Venice exclaimed happily, causing Victor's uncle to force a smile and subtly glance in Victor's direction.
"Psst! Victor, is that really your daughter's taste in dolls? That doll looks creepy!" he whispered to Victor, but when Venice looked their way, he quickly forced another smile at her.
"Um, is that really your doll? The dirty one? I mean, do you watch Annabelle? That doll looks exactly like the one in the movie," Victor's uncle remarked.
