The sunlight streamed through the curtains as Victor slowly opened his eyes, still feeling the effects of the previous night's drinking with Thomas and Zendrick.
His head throbbed with a dull ache, and he squinted at the clock on the wall, realizing it was already late in the morning.
Disoriented, he couldn't even recall where he had slept.
Gradually, memories of their conversations from the previous night returned to Victor. This included his wish to celebrate Venedict's birthday with Rina and Venice. However, he realized that it was impossible since Venedict now remembered everything, and he was not close to him to begin with.
Not only that but there were probably more things he shared with his cousins that he couldn't recall. He hoped he didn't shed tears in front of them, as he wished to maintain his image and not appear vulnerable.
