"What are you saying? You know what, I'm tired so I'm going to end the call," Rina said, ready to hang up.
"W-wait! Please don't hang up yet! I...I s-still have something to tell you!" Victor pleaded, and Rina could hear his heavy sigh on the other line.
"What is it?" Rina asked, annoyed, as she lay down on her bed because she was starting to feel tired too.
"Ahm...I'm s-sorry," Victor said in a soft voice, causing Rina to pause.
"W-what did you say?!" Rina asked, wanting to hear what Victor said again and make sure she heard him correctly, that he was apologizing.
"I said...I'm sorry," this time Victor said it a bit louder, causing Rina to sit up on her bed.
"W-why? I mean, why are you apologizing?"
"Because I made you like this... I mean, I didn't even have the courage back then to find out about your situation," Victor said, causing Rina to slightly furrow her brow as she interpreted his words differently.
