Victor waited until the two finished their embrace before he approached them. As he neared, he smiled broadly as if nothing had happened and pretended not to have heard their conversation.
"Venedict, the ice cream I ordered for you is on its way. Do you want something specific to eat, or perhaps you want to go somewhere afterward?" Victor asked Venedict, who couldn't bring himself to look directly at him.
"Go somewhere, Daddy? Does that mean the three of us will have a date together?" Venice asked, still showing the traces of her earlier tears as she tried her best to appear fine in front of him.
Victor, on the other hand, pretended not to notice her tears as he forced himself to act as if he hadn't seen everything that transpired earlier.
"Uhm, if you both want, we can have our first outing together after, so the three of us can have fun and bond," Victor suggested.
