"No, thank you for asking, but I don't have any problem," Victor said, although he wondered why Daniel asked. He chose not to mention his busy schedule due to Lucas needing time to recover, which left him with additional office work.
"Then why does Venice need to be at Rina's house?" Daniel asked, furrowing his brow. He glanced in the direction of the children, ensuring they were far enough away not to overhear their conversation.
Victor smiled subtly and gave Daniel a mischievous look.
"Why, is there something wrong with that? I don't see anything wrong with it, and besides, Rina agreed. It just means that our relationship is back on track to the point where she's comfortable accepting Venice," Victor said.
"But even if we say that your relationship with Rina is okay now, won't we still be unable to avoid what other people might say because you're entrusting your child from another woman to your ex?" Daniel said.
