"Rina, where are you! The kids are now ready! So hurry up! And I'll take you to school as well," Jeffrey shouted from their house, grabbing her attention.
Daniel paused for a moment, then quickly got into his car upon hearing Jeffrey's voice. When Rina turned to face him, he was already inside his car.
"Ah, I suppose I should also head off now. I have another destination in mind, and I just stopped by briefly. Farewell, and hopefully next time, you'll keep the gifts I give you. Goodbye," Daniel said before starting his car and driving away.
Rina couldn't help but wonder as Daniel quickly left upon hearing Jeffrey's voice.
She noticed the cold expression on his face before he departed, but she didn't dwell on it and just went inside the house empty-handed since Daniel didn't give her the package he was carrying.
