Moments later, Victor was slightly startled when Venice's tiny hand moved. He jolted in his seat and glanced at Rina.
"I t-think Venice is waking up because I felt her fingers move," He said, his voice tinged with nervousness, as he reached out to press the nurse call button.
Rina, Reynard, and even Venedict stood up from their seats and hurriedly approached Venice's bed.
And soon, Venice slowly opened her eyes to find Venedict's family and her dad by her side, their faces filled with concern.
"Are you okay, Venice? Do you feel any pain?" He asked gently, his voice filled with worry, but Venice only looked at him, still disoriented from just waking up.
As the nurse arrived, followed by the doctor whom he and Rina had spoken to earlier, they began to assess Venice's condition.
