"Ma'am!?" Vanessa exclaimed in surprise.
But even she was taken aback by her own actions because she didn't expect to do that.
Vanessa then took out a small mirror from her bag and examined her face.
She noticed that the part of her cheek where she had wiped was slightly red.
It seemed like I had overdone it', she thought.
"I'm sorry, Sir, but I n-need to go to the restroom f-first," she said before hastily leaving.
Victor and Venedict both looked surprised, and it seemed that even they didn't expect what she did.
But soon, a wide smile spread across Victor's face, as if he was pleased by what she did.
"W-Wait, why are you l-laughing? It's n-not what you think it is, okay?"
She quickly defended herself, but the smile on his face couldn't be suppressed. He was blushing as he looked at her happily.
