"Um... about that, I brought it from our old house," Victor attempted to explain, but Rina quickly stopped him.
"No need to explain everything to me. Let's just go," Rina said coldly while leading Venedict towards the door to leave.
Victor glanced at the two of them as they walked away.
Then, he looked back at the photo again and lingered on the small words written at the bottom.
"I'm waiting for the time when you'll learn to love me too," he whispered.
The letter written on the photo was written by Rina.
Perhaps she wrote it back when they were still living together in their old house.
He also remembers that Rina wanted to display this photo in their living room, but he had vehemently opposed the idea. So, Rina had no choice but to place it in her room instead.
And when Rina left, the first thing he had searched for in their old house was this photo.
