"Venice!"
Victor and she both exclaimed simultaneously. They didn't expect that they would say it at the same time, so they glanced at each other and then quickly looked away.
She composed herself first and then looked at Venice seriously.
"Ehem... Venice, what you want can't happen... you know, I can just sleep on the sofa, and you and Venedict can share the bed—"
But before she could finish her sentence, Victor cut her off.
"No. I will not let you sleep on the sofa. You can just take my room, and I'll sleep on the sofa," Victor said seriously.
"And why would you do that?" She raised an eyebrow in response to Victor.
"I'm your guest here, so I can't just take your room because this is your condo, and we're just staying over. Besides, the sofa looks soft and spacious enough for me."
