"Will you leave me now that I know the truth?" Helena asked, her voice tinged with desperation, prompting Victor to hold her even tighter.
"No! I will never do that!" Victor replied, while still holding her close.
"Then, are you going to keep both of us in your life like this?" Helena questioned tearfully.
"No! What made you think of that?" Victor replied, his hand gently rubbing her back to console her.
"But what about me now? Especially since you're married to Rina?" Helena asked, and Victor was at a loss for words.
"So, am I just your mistress!?, your secret lover for a long time!, and maybe Rina has been laughing at me all along! Huhu!" she added.
Victor's silence spoke volumes, and he realized the pain he had caused Helena by keeping her a secret.
Victor couldn't help but feel pity for her and the difficult situation they were both in, especially since he was unprepared for this conversation.
