After the two of them exited, Rina swiftly released her hold on Victor, causing a momentary wince of pain on his face. The ache, however, disappeared as Rina met his gaze sharply, causing him to feel as though he was being scorched by her look.
"Now that we're likely undisturbed, let's discuss our divorce," Rina calmly suggested,this was a significant change from her earlier intense and fiery behavior.
However, Victor just watched her, calmly took a deep breath, and examined her closely. This sudden focus made Rina conscious of herself, realizing that her appearance might be disheveled after the recent confrontation.
"Why the silence? I thought we needed to talk. Why does it seem like you've lost your voice now?"
"I-I just can't take my e-eyes off of you...y-you look absolutely beautiful right now," Victor blurted out, catching Rina off guard as she didn't expect such a compliment from him.
