"Venedict, please hurry up! you'll be late now for school!" I shouted at my son Venedict, whom I saw quickly descending the stairs, so I immediately assisted him.
"Venedict!, don't run down the stairs! What if something bad happens to you?" I expressed my concern.
"Mom, nothing happened to me, and besides, you're the one rushing me, so I just hurried up," Venedict replied in a soft voice, but it didn't escape my ears.
"Oh dear, don't tell me you're starting to adopt the habits of your uncledaddy? And now you've learned to talk back?" I said to Venedict, who was becoming more like his uncle.
"Why do I always find myself dragged into your mother-son discussions?" Jeffrey interrupted as he descended the stairs without a shirt, prompting me to give him a disapproving look because he was being a bad influence on Venedict again.
"Put some clothes on, brother! And don't let my son pick up your habit of going shirtless!" I retorted.
