I hadn't heard from Damon for almost half a month, either in the real world or online.
My relationship with Jones had been the talk of the town. It even affected my dad, but Damon seemed unfazed by all the attention.
Turned out that he hadn't been idle; he got over his issues with Ariel and chose to be with her.
I recall Damon asking me if I'd mind if he and Ariel got together.
"I wish you guys the best" I said while chuckling and looking calmly at Ariel.
"Eliana, I should thank you. If it weren't for you and Jones being together, Damon might never have realized that I'm the one for him and chosen to accept me. So don't miss our engagement party" Ariel said, pulling an invitation from her bag.
"I've had your invite ready for a while, just waiting to give it to you. Since I ran into you today, here it is."
I flipped through the invite. Damon and Ariel's engagement party was at the end of next month.
