On the way, she took out dozens of different flavors of bread and tore the packages before finishing each one in two to three bites. Her hunger didn't go away, and she only became more famished. Thus, she finished another dozen, but there was no change.

The basic hut residences were near the original front fences and Fern, and the others could see the landowner from where they were.

They had been waiting here since morning for the elf, but he didn't show up. The short-tempered pixie was only in charge of the warehouse and knew nothing of the quarry and pipes, and the other two—there's no need to mention them.

Fern was urged by his companions to approach the landowner. 

"Landowner, we wanted to purchase some supplies, and is there any work for today?" He was a full-grown man, but in front of a 5-foot woman, she was slightly shivering. Who could tell him why the landowner was staring at him with fire in her eyes?
