Chloe's POV
At Tyler's room....
"This baby has nothing to do with either you or your brother. I am pregnant with someone else's baby," I didn't have any other choice than to deceive Tyler again and lie to him. If I tell them the truth, will they marry me with my current status as a rogue or an omega? Of course, they wouldn't marry someone like me. On top of that, if I tell them that I don't have any idea of who the father of my child was, then what will people think about me? I can't go back to become a rogue again. I have to stay in this pack till my baby is born or I can find some other safe place.
"Okay, I assume that you wouldn't admit the truth to me. I won't press you on this topic anymore, but I am going to ask you another question and this time you can't lie to me, okay?" he asked with the determination that he won't accept a "No" for an answer. So I had to agree with him.
"Okay, I won't lie to you," I said but deep in my mind, I knew I wouldn't be able to tell him the truth no matter what the question was.
"Why had you left your pack and the alpha position," Tyler asked leaving me off guard. I didn't expect this question from him now. What will I tell him now? I licked my lips as a habit of my nervousness and started making a story.
"I wanted to have a free life, I wasn't ready to take the responsibility of an alpha so I had a fight with my father," I replied slowly making up a story. Tyler frowned at me suspiciously. I knew the story was lame but what could I do instead of lying?
Suddenly he raised my face with his strong fingers and forced me to meet his eyes and said, "Do you think of me a fool? Am I look that silly to you?" he asked dangerously, then said, "If you dare to lie in front of me one more time then I would..." he stopped midway as if he was finding the right word or right punishment for me. I couldn't hold my emotions anymore and started laughing.
"What happened alpha Tyler? Couldn't find a punishment for me?" I started laughing again but Tyler's face became red in anger.
"If you lie to me ever again then I will kiss you," he said suddenly and pulled me closer to him. He was looking at me with so much affection that it made me blush.
His handsome and serious face made him more attractive. Our close proximity was making me yearn for him. My heartbeat fastened. Something in him was pulling me closer to him. I couldn't stop myself and kissed him.
At first, he didn't respond to my kiss so I wanted to pull back but then he responded. It was the most perfect kiss of my life that I had ever experienced. He was a skilled kisser. He was strong and tender at the same time. I was completely lost in the kiss. I never felt like this before.
Tyler's POV
I didn't know what happened but suddenly I felt her lips on mine. At first, I was taken aback by the suddenness of the situation and became stiff. Seeing no response from me Chloe was about to pull off when I held her head and deepened the kiss.
Her lips were soft like a rose petal and she tasted of strawberry. I sucked her lower lips then inserted my tongue inside her mouth. I invaded every corner of her cavern with my mouth. We were both lost in the kiss and fought for dominance. We continued kissing until one of us was out of breath.
After the kiss, both of us were panting and gasping heavily because of the oxygen shortage. Chloe's face was shining red because of continuous blushing. I knew she was lying about the baby's father. I didn't want to lose her so I didn't argue with her. But I have a better plan. I will run a DNA test after the baby is born and if it's mine then I will never let her go away from me. But there's something else I need to know from her.
"Now tell me the truth, Chloe. I have had enough of your lies. Why did you leave your pack?" I asked again with a serious expression. Chloe became stiff for a moment thinking about something. Then she suddenly threw her body on my bed then turned to me.
"You can do whatever you want to do with me. You are the alpha here," she threatened me lying on my bed. There was an evil smile on her lips.
"You are such a bad girl, you have found a way to control me," I fake scolded her and lay beside her on the bed. Chloe started giggling at my scolding complaining that I don't even know how to scold a woman.
We continued chatting about different experiences of our lives and we had so many similar hobbies that made me surprised. Suddenly an idea popped into my mind and I decided to ask Chloe about her love life.
"How many boyfriends did you have?" I asked her. Chloe seemed taken aback by my question.
"I had a lot of boyfriends; I don't remember the exact number," Chloe said after thinking for some time. I could clearly say that she was lying but I didn't stop her.
"That's why you seemed so skilled in bed," I teased her.
"How many girlfriends did you have?" She asked me back ignoring my teasing. I was impressed with her comeback.
"You were the first woman of my life," of course I lied to her. As if she knew I was lying, Chloe smiled at me teasingly. We both knew we were lying to each other but we didn't let it spoil the moment. We continued talking and making fun of each other until we heard a loud growl outside my door.
"Why it is so noisy here? Don't you want other people to sleep?" Chloe stopped giggling as soon as she heard those words. She was taken aback by this sudden outburst from outside. I put my hand on hers to assure her that everything was going to be okay. But the next second someone burst open my bedroom door making both of us flinch. The intruder was none other than Tyson.
"What is going on here?" Tyson roared dangerously. Though his reaction didn't bother me but Chloe was nervous. She was looking embarrassed being caught in a bed with me.
"Are you both f*cking here?"
