Chloe's POV
Tyler took me to his pack in spite of my all refusals and reasoning. As we were passing the curious pack members, they were gawking at me as if I had come from another planet. I could hear their low murmuring and gossiping all thanks to my wolf abilities.
"She's so beautiful. Do you think she is the new girlfriend of our alpha?" one of the pack members asked another.
"Of course, she is his new girlfriend. If not then why would Alpha Tyler bring her with him to the pack?" the second one replied. The pack embers continued their gossiping. I was embarrassed by their lame thinking and wanted to correct them but Tyler stopped me. He shook his head and continued walking to their pack house. I had a hope that he would tell the truth to his pack members but he didn't say a single word and remained silent the whole time. I was feeling so angry with him for his silence that I wanted to punch his grinning face but controlled myself.
"No matter how hard we try to explain the situation, they would understand what they want to understand. So let them think whatever they want, time will explain everything," Tyler explained after guessing the reason for my anger. His explanation had logic so I nodded to him agreeing to his decision.
As we were going near the pack, more pack members were gathering around us to see me. I tried to hide my face with my hand. I didn't want anyone to recognize me. If someone recognizes me then it would not take much time to reach the news to my father. As if reading my mind, suddenly Tyler pulled my hair clip open, letting my hair fall on my face freely. The loose hair was hiding my face from everyone. I was moved by his action. He had a soft mind that he didn't display to others.
At the pack house…..
"Can you help me find a place to live outside the pack house? I don't think it's convenient for me to stay here," I tried to convince Tyler again. I was feeling nervous here I don't know why. Maybe I was afraid of meeting Tyson after what happened at the pack border.
"You are going nowhere. You will be staying here with us," Tyler said again. He's been adamant on this matter. He won't agree to let me go.
"Okay, I gave up, you won," I had no other choice but to agree with him. 'I just wish I didn't have to meet Tyson again,' I mumbled in a low voice.
"At least you can give me a job, right? Or you can make me a low-rank omega in that case I will be away from all these attentions," as soon as I finished, Tyler burst into laughter. He was laughing so hard as if he had heard some really funny jokes. I frowned at him for laughing at me.
"You have alpha blood in your veins. How can you be an omega?" Tyler reasoned laughing. I fell into deep thought. He was right my wolf blood won't let me be an omega. Then what should I do? As if reading my mind Tyler gave a solution.
"It is better to pretend to my girlfriend till everything is sorted out," he suggested and it made me think that he had a point.
"Okay, but how will I pretend to be your girlfriend?" I asked him confusingly. I had never been in a romantic relationship. So, it wasn't easy for me to pretend.
"Don't worry about it, I am an expert in this matter. I know well how girls react when they are in love." Tyler replied with his signature grin.
"Really? You seemed to be an expert in terms of girls. How many girlfriends have you had before?" I asked him teasingly arching my brows. I wasn't sure about this plan of his but it seemed like we didn't have any other choice. Only the moon goddess knew what games she was playing with my fate.
"Really, it's pretty simple. Just stay close to me and whenever you look at me, just pretend that there is no other person around you but me," he pulled me closer to him and whispered in his husky voice
"Yeah, there's no other person here except for you," I teased him again and this time we both started laughing. Suddenly, he stared at me deeply. "What?"I asked him.
Tyler didn't say anything, his hands were around my waist and holding me close to him, and his eyes were fixed on my face. Our eyes met and it was like the world stopped moving around us. We were lost in each other's eyes when we heard a loud growl. The next moment, Tyler pulled his hand back from my waist and moved back from me.
"How dare you make someone your girlfriend and didn't inform me, Tyler?" As soon as I heard that angry voice, I turned to the door. And there stood the great alpha Tyson with an angry face.
Noooo, how could Tyson suddenly show up? Didn't Tyler tell me that his brother was outside their pack now?
I was so nervous, even scared when my eyes bumped into Tyson's. He gave a stern stare which sent chills down my spine; after shooting his gaze on his brother.
Tyson was looking at Tyler in search of an answer to his question. When he didn't get an answer from Tyler his eyes fell on me. He was staring at me coldly. His cold piercing blue eyes were making me nervous. I couldn't stand his cold stare anymore and ran to the washroom. I splashed cold water on my face to ease the nervousness. I don't know why I can't stand his cold eyes.
"See what you have done. You have scared the poor girl," I heard Tyler accusing Tyson from the washroom.
"I didn't say anything to her. It was her who ran away from here as if she was trying to hide from me," I heard Tyson's cold voice.
Third person POV
"You should have at least informed me before making a random girl your girlfriend," Tyson accused Tyler of hiding the truth from him.
"Why do I need to inform you? It is my life and I can make anyone my girlfriend. I don't need your permission," Tyler replied in anger. He was concerned for Chloe as she hadn't come out of the washroom yet.
The two brothers were still blaming each other in a low voice when Chloe came out of the washroom. Both of the twin alphas turned to her hearing the sound of the door opening. Chloe was standing in front of the bathroom door lowering her head while Tyson was observing her keenly. He felt there was something that Chloe was hiding from them.
"Are you pregnant?" Tyson asked out of the blue making both Chloe and Tyler shocked. Chloe looked at Tyler to see his expression and his shocked eyes made her terrified.
Both Chloe and Tyler were lost in their thoughts. Tyson didn't remember anything from that night but both Chloe and Tyler knew the truth.
'Is it my baby she's pregnant with?' Tyler couldn't help but wonder about their intimate moments a few weeks ago.
'How did he get to know about my pregnancy? Did he remember everything from that night? I can't let them know the truth yet. I can't lose my baby,' Chloe thought in her mind. She was scared to hell.
