Isabelle sighed heavily, leaning back in her chair to stare out of the window.
A dull ache throbbed between her temples and she rubbed them in an attempt to soothe it away.
Her skin was coated with a layer of sweat, thanks to the fireplace heating up her bedroom.
But she shivered all the same.
It was midwinter. Despite the cold winds outside, Isabelle felt hotter than usual and despite all efforts to cool herself down, nothing worked. But if she let herself cool downshe shivered heavily.
She groaned and tilted her head back, taking deep breaths to calm herself.
"This is stuuupiiidddd..." She groaned. "I don't have time for this!"
She hadn't even done anything like overworked herself! She even checked her stats to make sure that she wasn't cursed.
