"What do you mean, wounded!?" She yelped as she let herself get dragged. "Tieya, slow down!"
Snowball squeaked and yowled in fear until Tenshi deftly plucked the kitten from her arms and shushed him, gently cradling and petting the kitten.
She turned back toward Tenshi in a panic herself, and he simply offered her a soft smile, pressing kisses to the kitten and rocking it to shush it. "Go. I will soothe Snowball."
Isabelle swallowed her nerves and nodded, rushing forward and running with her handmaiden. "Wounded...wounded how...? Wh-what's...what's happened-"
"A guard found him at the entrance of the city, bloodied and stabbed and barely breathing."
'Wha-?! What...what was he even doing there?!" She stopped, eyes widening in disbelief. "How is that possible?!"
"He's being taken care of as we speak..."
