"Nnnnhh!" Phillipe whined pathetically and tried to twist his head to the side but the captain simply shifted his hold so that his cheek was firmly pressed to the stone floor.
It was somehow even more pathetic than his squirming.
She squatted down next to him. "You."
Phillipe went stock still at the sound of her voice, trembling slightly in fear, pretty purple eyes wide and tremulous.
"I am going to offer you a deal." She said.
Ezekiel tilted his head curiously, continuing to hold Phillipe down.
"I'm gonna talk to you and you're gonna answer. Even if you're shy. And if you behave, Ezekiel will let you go. No harm done."
Phillipe stared at her in bewilderment and then gave a small, hesitant nod, his face burning brightly from embarrassment at having been pinned so easily in front of the empress.
She glanced over at Ezekiel and he inclined his head politely, signaling for her to continue.
"First thing: your name?"
