Meena had no clue her son had been silently suffering and pining over Skyla for so long.
She gently placed her hand on his arm and said.
"A little more patience, Zyair. It will give her time to heal and decide what she wants to do. And if she is meant to be yours, she will be. Nothing and no one can stop that. Just like Montague and me."
He sighed frustratedly, his heart ached in the worst possible ways as his hands slid slightly up and down his face. Even though his heart didn't agree with what others kept telling him, he knew this was the right course of action.
"Ok, mom. I will try," he replied with finality but his voice reflected the pain he was experiencing.
Meena's heart throbbed seeing her son like that. She asked.
"You haven been in love for so long?"
Zyair straightened his back and placed his hands on his thighs before turning to face her. He thought long before answering.
