(One Month Later)
A shiny red convertible stopped outside the cemetery. The driver's door opened and Skyla stepped out of it with two black roses in her hand. A simple black ankle length dress adorned her healthy looking body.
She quietly walked inside, it was still early in the morning and she had decided to stop by before heading over to the office.
Making her way to where her parents eternally rested she was astonished to see the graves covered in tiny pink petals. The cherry blossom tree nearby had shared its beautiful flowers with them.
It was springtime, the season of happiness, joy, and colour. The season of flowers, new life and rebirths. The season of rejuvenation.
Her heart ached as she approached the two tombstones. Bending down she placed the flowers on their graves.
