Excitement oozed from every pore on Skyla's skin as she packed her suitcase and hummed the tone of Blue Bird from Naruto. She couldn't believe that her boss had winked at her, thinking it over and over, she felt so gooey inside.
Her phone rang and she checked the caller ID. It was Doran and all her happiness was sucked like a vacuum cleaner does to dirt. She picked up the call and said with an elevated heartbeat.
"Hello!"
"Zyair called and I am letting you go. But I need every detail about the meeting. Whom he met and what he signed. And remember to keep your hands to yourself and your legs closed, Skyla. Do I make myself clear?"
His cold and yet flat voice came through the speaker.
"Abundantly," she replied, slightly irked.
"Good, keep your phone with you at all times. I will be calling again."
