Entering the clinic, Elaina is welcomed by the smell of medicine and the strong smell of disinfectant. Not only that but the Cleansing Magic is constantly circulating all over the clinic with the help of the Cleansing Device that is developed by the Magic Tower to help people clean the air of clinics and areas where plagues once appeared to remove the effects of the illnesses.
Elaina has rarely been sick and even if she gets sick, she either has to only use a bit of good sleep for a whole day and a hearty amount of food to eat, or maybe some of the maids cast a healing spell for her. So for Elaina, going to the clinic is a rarity.
Since it was only a checkup, she just needed to wait for a few minutes before the doctor could inspect her condition. Since no one else is present in the clinic aside from her and the current patient the doctor is currently speaking. A few minutes later and the patient left which means it was her turn.
She waited a few more minutes before the assistant called her to get inside. The moment she entered, the cleansing magic in the air was much more intense inside the room that even though she was not so adept in magic, she could feel it even without trying to sense it.
"Welcome. A new face huh? This is the first time I have seen you, what's your name?" the doctor greeted as she pushed her glasses up and sat in her chair before facing Elaina who also sat opposite her.
"Ah, it's Elaina. My name is Elaina."
Elaina looked closely at the doctor before her. She thought the doctor was a guy but to her surprise, it was a female doctor. She is a pretty brunette, coupled with her small glasses and her green eyes, she is a young doctor who seems to look like a fresh graduate but based on her behavior alone, Elaina can tell that this doctor before her is an expert and does her job without any sort of inconsistencies and unprofessionalism. And the fact that she managed to make a business as a doctor here and remains as one means she is a really good doctor.
"Don't be scared, we are here to determine what you are currently feeling and why you wanted to visit the hospital. If it is a mild thing, I can just give you a medicine that can help or maybe a healing magic if it is curable with that alone," the doctor reassured.
"Ah, then let me explain..."
Elaina explained everything she had experienced during that terrible sensation in the morning and told her everything and her assumption that she might have eaten something wrong.
"I see now. I kind of get the gist of it, but we needed more information so I will be asking a few questions. Even if it sounds embarrassing, please answer truthfully, okay? That way, we can determine and pinpoint what you are feeling for. Okay, first question. Have you eaten a lot of food lately or are you craving food lately?"
"Eh? Craving for food? W-well...I think I am not craving anything of that sort but I do think my appetite has somewhat increased?" Elaina didn't understand what was happening but she answered anyway.
The doctor nodded and wrote something in her little notebook before she went for her second question. "Alright, are you perhaps married?"
I saw her eyes land on my wedding ring and I answered her truthfully while showing her the ring. "Yes. I have a husband."
She nodded again before she asked another question that Elaina wasn't prepared to hear. "Okay, so did the two of you already do the 'deed' already or maybe recently?"
"H-huh? T-the 'deed'? You mean..." Elaina blushed and stuttered.
"Yep. That kind of 'deed' indeed. Please don't hide information please, I needed to hear the truth, alright?"
Elaina's mind then remembered Alfred and her went to their bed with nothing in them but their birthday suit and did their dance. She blushed profusely remembering it but she decided to answer truthfully.
"A-a bit a-around a few w-weeks ago..."
"Huh...interesting. Alright, one final thing. Can you please stay still? Let me do one final body check-up on you."
Elaina nodded and the doctor extended both of her hands to Elaina and a bright light enveloped her body. It doesn't feel anything but she can feel the magic in her body. After the inspection, the doctor wiped off the sweat on her brow and smiled at Elaina.
"I see now. I know what was causing you to feel that way earlier, Elaina."
"Really? Is it bad?"
The doctor smiled and shook her head. "No, no. I didn't say it was an illness at all, Mrs. Elaina, in fact, this is a piece of information that you should be celebrating with your husband!"
Elaina then frowned. "What do you mean?"
"You are pregnant. It's 2 weeks old. You shouldn't worry too much about it and tell your husband the great news!"
The doctor continued to tell Elaina all of the things she needed to do and don'ts during pregnancy but for Elaina, this is not something she had been expecting at all. All of the words from the doctor enter her mind but her mind is more preoccupied with what she is going to do next now that a new factor suddenly appears.
She received a few plans and a few medicines to counteract the morning sickness in case things get really bad but otherwise, she is going to be fine. After paying and getting advice from the doctor to have regular checkups once she reaches around 5 to 8 months to monitor the growth of the baby in her belly.
Elaina left as she carried the medicine given by the doctor to her. However, Elaina's mind is now muddled on what to do next. As much as she wanted to proceed and do her current plans for the day, she decided to postpone this for now and go back to the castle.

After she had visited the doctor earlier, Elaina's mind was now filled with the thoughts of the baby in her belly. There is no doubt about it now. She will now be a mother of a child. However, this is going to be a complicated situation for her now.
"I wasn't anticipating that I would get pregnant now of all times..." Elaina couldn't believe the chances of it happening.
"What am I gonna do now? If Alfred takes hold of this matter now, that only means he will get a successor now. Of course, the matter is more complicated once my sister joins the fray. There is a chance my sister will also get knocked off by my husband after they did it yesterday...if that is the case, then that will only cause multiple problems. Not only will my son or daughter get caught in this matter, but they will not even be able to escape it if they remain here."
Things will get troublesome now and her pregnancy didn't account at all to her plans. However, after thinking for quite some time, Elaina immediately concluded what is her next course of action.
"I don't want my unborn child to experience the harsh world of politics and the problems the monarchy had. And the fact that there is a chance of danger brewing in the future will only make it more troublesome. Alright. I know this is going to be hard, but I will do it. The escape will continue and I will continue my pregnancy as well. I will raise my son or my daughter by myself and make sure that my husband regrets cheating on me with my sister."
Elaina immediately scratched off her initial plan and made another plan, with the addition of her unborn child as a factor. After being satisfied with her plans, she started to work on her escape and made things perfect and also to ensure that once she managed to escape, even if her husband decided to search for her, she would not be easily found by him or her family.
And so... a few days passed by and before Elaina knew it, it was the day she would execute her plan. Waking up early while the sky is still dark, she grabs all of the things she has prepared beforehand. In her little luggage, she stuffed all of the important stuff she would need for starting her new life. She also didn't forget to withdraw all of her money as well and now they are now inside the magic pouch she is keeping with her. The money she had was enough to last her for a long time and to buy a small property as well to start over.
Once she has finished her final preparation, Elaina wears her cloak and grabs one of the teleport stones she had prepared beforehand. She already made the coordinates before during her walks so she is confident about it and it will not leave any traces of magic after being used as every trace will be destroyed after she finishes using it, leaving no clue after.
Elaina took one last look at her room and smiled before she broke the Teleport stone into pieces which then promptly teleported her and her belongings to the coordinates she had set up.
As soon as she opens her eyes, she is now outside the mansion and she is now in a quiet alleyway. The street is silent and dark so there are fewer people in the streets.
Her steps are fast and before she knew it, she is now getting a ticket to sail through the next continent.
Since no one recognized her, she managed to get onboard a ship and get a room on the ship where she would stay during the entire trip. It only took a few hours of waiting before the ship set sail. As the dawn breaks, a new chapter of Elaina's life has flipped open.
Little did she know that an omnipotent being was currently observing her, watching all of her current actions with great interest.
"She has the potential indeed. Looks like I will have to discuss this closely with the others and see whether we can proceed with the next course of action. As for you, Elaina dear... don't worry, we will meet soon."
