As Carla steps into the bedroom, she finds Derek sitting on the bed, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. "Hey there, sleepyhead," she teases, walking over to him.
Derek chuckles, setting aside the book he was reading. "Hey, babe. Guess what? I've got a surprise for you tonight," he says, excitement evident in his voice.
