"Come on, stop yelling. What other choice do I have? Besides, I already went back," her voice went a tad low when she said that. When she couldn't find Aiden, she went back to the underworld to seek help. Whoever is looking for her must have been triggered because she showed up in the underworld after so long. She sighed.
Jerry's eyes shot open and he bolted up, pointing a quivering finger at her. He wanted to chide her but couldn't bring himself to do so. Angered at his inability to speak his mind, he picked a pebble and hurled it at the lake.
"Don't be so agitated. I had no choice." Alexa made an effort to calm him down even though her voice didn't sound convincing. She saw nothing wrong in waking the devil just to look for her husband.
