Bella smiled faintly at Old Sinclair before she wanted to answer him. She felt Dax's small hand holding her hand.
"Mom, I need to talk to you. Please—"
Bella had no choice but to nod and excuse herself to Lewis. She followed Dax to the library.
After Bella closed the door behind her, she focused on Dax. She was curious why he suddenly needed to talk to her.
"Mommy, why is Mr. Lewis Sinclair meeting you?"
Bella was shocked to hear his question.
How on earth did Dax know about Lewis Sinclair!?
"Y-You know who that old man outside!?" Bella asked again to make sure she didn't hear wrong.
"Yeah. He is Lewis Sinclair, Tristan Sinclair's grandfather," Dax answered calmly. However, Bella almost tripped over her own feet when she heard his words.
'He even knows his father's name? How!?' Bella held the door behind her to ensure she stood firm while trying to hide her surprise.
"Why do you look so surprised, Mom?"
