Madeline turned her head towards Lance and smiled. "Though, I'm not sure if that man wants to spend a lifetime with me."
"You're joking. Why would I not want to spend my lifetime with you?" Lance said as he leaned towards Madeline and whispered. "Not only a lifetime. If reincarnation is real, I will spend my next life with you, too."
"Oh, Lance…"
Nathan rolled his eyes in silence as he saw Lance and Madeline eating each other faces out after dinner.
"Gross," he muttered.
But he was secretly happy about it because the other students in his school hated her, saying that she had no shame for dating Zane Eastwood, even though Zane had a clean record, unlike her.
Some others also said that Zane deserved a better woman than Madeline.
Thus, knowing that Madeline wasn't attached to Zane was a relief because he also got a bad vibe from Zane when they met once in the old home.
