Madeline prepared herself for the last scene of Psycho Moth with Zane.
After their fight almost a month ago, they grew distant and cold towards each other. They didn't even speak after their scenes and would go on separate ways to ensure they didn't bump into each other on the production set.
Of course, the staff already knew that Zane and Madeline weren't really dating in real life. Madeline was actually dating Lancelot Grant, the CEO of Empress Entertainment. The dating announcement made by Zane was just a publicity stunt for this movie.
