Valerie had fully expected her cousin to completely forget all the stupid things he had said and done last night, so she came prepared.
"You should listen to this voice note first." Valerie forwarded the voice note that the drunken Lance sent last night.
Lance had a bad feeling when he got the voice note. Part of his mind told him he shouldn't click on it to save embarrassment, but he was curious, so he took a deep breath and clicked on it.
He listened to the whole thing and quickly threw his phone to the wall when the voice note was about to repeat itself.
Unfortunately for him, the voice note kept playing, now at full volume.
Lance listened in horror a few more times before grabbing his phone and deleting the voice note.
"Hello? Lance? Are you there?" Valerie asked, as she heard a commotion on the phone.
"Yeah, I'm here," Lance said calmly, but heaven knew how much he dreaded his action last night.
