"Impossible?"
"Yeah, you're on Madeline's side. That means you'll save Jasmin because the underdogs flock together," Elly said without a filter. "So your only choice is between me and Bertha. And I'm sure you'll kick me out of the game, because Bertha is Madeline's childhood friend."
Elly sneered as she said the last word, "Friend, huh? What a cheap word to say."
Zane smiled meaningfully, "So, if I give you the chance to eliminate someone, who would that be?"
"Honestly? Madeline Rose," Elly replied without hesitation.
"I can't do that," Zane said. "You know I will never do that, even if she's not on the winning team."
"You asked me, and I replied based on what I wanted." Elly shrugged.
"I thought you'd nominate Bertha. Since she's the only woman with the same risk of elimination as you are."
