Shocked, he turned around and saw Gu Xijiu standing next to him. She nestled up against him, and their faces were, again, in close proximity. He could already feel her breath of warm air against his cheeks.
Could she be throwing herself at him? Perhaps she also felt the same about him? After all, it was his name that she uttered, even in her sleep.
