Xie Limo brought Yun Bixue to the car and drove home.
Yun Bixue caressed her stomach with a warm smile. "Limo, now that the news is confirmed, how about informing Mum about it?"
With one hand on the steering wheel, Xie Limo used the other to caress Yun Bixue on the head. "I've already informed mother while you were in the washroom. She asked me to take good care of you and to protect you. If I don't, I won't have to go home."
Yun Bixue chuckled at that. "Mum's just joking with you!"
"Although she was joking, it made me feel like I was picked up randomly as a kid while you are her real daughter."
Yun Bixue's expression softened upon hearing Xie Limo's teasing words. She was incredibly thankful to have met Xie Limo and to have met a great mother-in-law like Ji Qiongxin.
