Xie Limo thought for a moment before answering, "There's more to her than meets the eye."
Yun Bixue blinked. She recalled the Xiajun Yanwu she met earlier, and she seemed like a straightforward person.
"Really?"
There was a glint in Xie Limo's eyes as he said in a deep voice, "This is my most unbiased opinion of her. She's hiding too many secrets. Ordinary people wouldn't be able to pry into her life."
Xie Limo's words shocked Yun Bixue. So Xiajun Yanwu was indeed different from what she appeared on the surface.
Yun Bixue blinked and asked in turn, "Do you mean to say you're able to pry into her life?"
Xie Limo replied blandly, "I'm not concerned about what kind of person she is, but I had assigned the Xie family's hidden guards to keep a watch on her, to find out about her political stand."
Yun Bixue thought that made sense. After all, whether or not Xiajun Yanwu was vying for that spot concerned Xie Limo's plans.
