Yun Bixue froze after hearing Xie Limo's words. She tried to check his missed calls, but she couldn't find her cell phone. She rummaged through her bag and pockets, and even searched around her, but it was nowhere to be found.
"What's wrong?"
Yun Bixue blinked. "I don't know where my cell phone is. Could I have lost it?" After speaking, she was about to kneel on the floor and upend the contents of her bag.
A glint flashed across Xie Limo's eyes. He grabbed Yun Bixue's arm to interrupt her and said, "Don't panic. Think about it carefully. When was the last time you used your cell phone and where did you put it? Why was it turned off? You probably didn't drop it. Did you leave it somewhere?" He understood his wife well enough to know that she wasn't someone who just left her things everywhere.
Yun Bixue slapped her forehead and thought about her previous actions before this. "I remember now. I think I left it in the office."
