"Use this." Fang Xinxin retrieved a dagger from her bag and handed it to him. She watched him with her bright gaze. "Kill me with this. I don't wish to be shot by a gun. It'll hurt a lot."
Bai Qinghao received the dagger and returned her gaze deeply. He spoke heavily. "Alright."
Fang Xinxin's eyes were nearly welling up in tears. "Before we leave, let me embrace you again."
Bai Qinghao embraced her tightly, pressing her small figure into his arms. He murmured softly. "My wife…"
She leaned her head against his shoulder and savored his warm hug.
All of a sudden, her eyes snapped open. A dagger was stabbed into her abdomen. Bai Qinghao's hand was wrapped around the other end of the dagger.
