"She said her name is Liang Xinran. She's a pretty girl and looks a little familiar," the assistant said with a smile.
Hearing the assistant's words, Gu Jingyuan changed his attitude.
"Send her in."
The assistant smiled and went out to inform them.
Liang Xinran walked in, looked around his overly empty office, and ran towards him.
She held the flowers up to him. "A fan gave them to me. I thought they looked good. I'll pass them along."
"Thank you." Gu Jingyuan placed the flowers on his table and remembered that he had never given her anything, not even flowers.
He felt momentarily ashamed looking her smiling face.
"I just heard from your assistant that you're busy. In that case, I'll get going and come back when you're not."
"It's certainly a bit of a rush. I need to rush through a report, but could you … just wait here until I've finished, and then have dinner tonight?"
"Sure! I need to read a script anyway!"
