Mara's hands reached to her purse as she took out the dagger while she smiled at the maid. When the sight of dagger fell in front of the maid's eyes, she frowned tightly in confusion. She shook her head to shrug away her impossible thoughts.
Mara gave the dagger to the maid with a smile. Without noticing what was actually happening, the maid accepted the dagger joyfully. "T-thank you, Young Miss. I appreciate this a lot, Young Miss but can I ask you something?" the maid raised her eyebrow.
Mara nodded with a smile. "Is this for cutting meat?" the maid questioned with a confused smile. The other two maids were also waiting the young woman's answer. Mara chuckled as she ruffled the dog's fur, the Husky was sitting on the floor, looking up at his owner only.
"No! It is to stab people" Mara's words made the maid frowned in confusion. That maid was so dense. "Stab yourself with it, that's the reward for your behavior" The maid's smile dropped as her eyes widened in disbelief. "P-please don't joke like that, Miss" She stuttered in fear.
Mara sighed tiredly.
"1, you never treat me as a Young Miss. 2, you never do your job and waste your time on my TV only. 3, you ignored me even though you knew it was wrong. 4, you framed me as a thief but in fact it was you who stole my money. 5, you never talk to me politely. 6, you-"
"Please stop!! I said I am sorry!! What's wrong with you?!" the maid stood up from the floor, pointing the dagger at Mara while her body was trembling. The others were listening and watching the two, they could not even move from their places.
A deep chuckle escaped Mara's lips. She knew that the maid did not dare to harm her with the dagger. She stood up from the seat along with the Husky. She was facing the maid with a smirk, taking a deep breath to talk.
"Get out of my house, you wicked animals! All of you are fired! I don't want to see anyone of you when I come back! If I see one of you, I won't hesitate to shoot you all with a gun! Am I understood?! Now get out of my house before I kill you all!"
Mara raised her voice while her fox eyes were telling everyone in the room to obey her. The three flinched, they could not help but walked out of the house in hurry. The maid threw the dagger onto the floor and ran out of the house in hurry.
They had seen how cruel the young woman was, they had to run away from the young woman before she freaked out again. When the maids left the house, Mara smiled in satisfaction. "First mission completed" She looked down at her dog which was looking up at her with a smile.
"Let's go, baby. I am hungry"
Mara picked up the dagger from the floor and put it back into her purse. She grabbed the leash of her dog and walked out of the dining room. 'Finally..' she sighed tiredly. Those maids were going to kill her if she did not show them how cruel she could be.
"I need to find a good restaurant that is cheap" She locked the door of her house after wearing white boots and walked out to main road. Original Mara Athena could not drive so she did not have a car. "I swear.. walking is tiring" Mara murmured furiously while the Husky followed her lead.
She did not have to walk too far for restaurant because there were many restaurants on the road. Many people walked in and out busily. Mara found a cheap yet good restaurant quickly. She stepped into the restaurant, tying the Husky's leash outside.
The restaurant did not welcome the dogs indoor, but it allowed the customers to eat outdoor with their pets. "Welcome, Miss" the girl at the counter greeted with a smile. "Hello, can I get shrimp fried rice and black coffee?" Mara replied with a smile.
"Ah, yes Miss. Which cup size would you like to drink black coffee with?" the girl asked as she stared at the young woman, not dropping the smile. "Medium would be fine" Mara smiled. "Yes, Miss. It costs 34 dollars" Mara handed 50 dollars to the girl.
"Here, Miss. May I know where is your seat?" the girl asked with a smile. "Outdoor" Mara replied as the girl nodded in understatement. "Ok, Miss. Please wait for awhile. Thank you" Mara smiled at the girl and walked out of the restaurant, sitting under the shade while Husky looked around.
Mara tied the Husky's leash at the pole of shade so she could easily sit down and watch the view. Her fox eyes were on the car which was parked on the other side of the road. "I want to buy a car too.." she sighed. Mara could drive but there was no money in her pocket.
"Here is what you ordered, Miss"
The girl's voice brought Mara back from thinking about robbing a bank. "Oh, yea. Thanks" the girl put down the plate and black coffee onto the table as Mara smiled at the sight. "Enjoy your meal, Miss" the girl spoke and went back into the restaurant.
"*Vroom vroom*" the loud engine sound attracted everyone's attentions including Mara. Mara stared at the red colored Zenvo TSR-S car which worth 1.6 million dollars, that car was the one which she was looking before.
There was a man in the car, making the girls and women stared at him. But the man inside the car was looking at the Husky which was near Mara, not paying attention to others. "Why the heck is he staring at my Husky?"
Mara mumbled as she pulled her Husky near to her. She thought the man in the car was thinking how to kidnap her dog. The man in the car looked at the young woman who was frowning at him and holding her Husky tightly. His eyebrows wrinkled.
"Tsk.. she is still mad at me" He spoke under his breath, turning his attention back to the road. The car drove off from the place, leaving everyone in awe. Mara felt relieved when the car finally left, she was afraid of losing her one and only Siberian Husky.
"Don't worry, mommy will protect you" Mara smiled at her Husky and patted its head gently. She continued her breakfast under the shade peacefully. When she finished eating, she decided to go to original Mara Athena's father's villa. She went to the place where taxis were.
After telling the taxi driver where she wanted to go, she went into the taxi. The Husky also came along with her since she begged the driver to let her dog in. But the taxi driver refused so she told him that she would pay double if he let her bring the dog, it was when he accepted.
"Thank you"
Mara paid the money when she finally arrived to the villa. She got out of the car and thanked the man half-heartedly. "Are you Mara Athena? If I am right, this is Mara Athena's father's villa. Only Mara Athena doesn't have a car, so she goes to her father's house with taxi only"
The man's words made Mara rolled her eyes and gritted her teeth. "Shut your mouth and go back to wherever you came from" The young woman coldly spoke as she walked away from the man who was so nosy. There was a tightened frown on her face, that man ruined her mood.
Mara walked into the villa confidently, not even asking a permission from the gatekeeper. "Mara Athena! You can't go in. Sir is having a breakfast with his family" the gatekeeper of the villa ran towards the young woman and stopped her from walking into the house.
Original Mara Athena's father lived together with his second wife and non blood related sons while he turned a blind eye on his real daughter. He was a heartless man who did not have a brain but lust. "I am his real daughter which makes me his family.
How dare you talk to me like that?" The gatekeeper jaw dropped, he was stunned. Mara Athena looked so strong and confident, not like other days. She looked so different. He gulped, could not find words to reply. Mara's lips curved up into a smirk. "Get out of my sight"
She walked past the man while Siberian Husky's barked at the gatekeeper loudly. The dog followed his owner, growling like a wolf. "Don't worry, they can't do anything to me" Mara knew that her dog was getting ready to bite the father of original Mara Athena if he harmed her.
Mara stepped into the villa without hesitating. Her steps directed to the dining room. As she arrived to the room, the sight of a man and woman laughing at jokes fell in front of her eyes. Mara frowned tightly. The family was having a good time without her.
"Disgusting.."
She murmured while standing at the place like a statue, waiting for the four to notice her. The young woman and Siberian Husky appearances caught the family attentions. She was standing in front of them confidently with a disgusted face.
There were two young men sitting side to side, one was looking at Mara with widened eyes in shock while the other one was looking at the young woman with boredom. "Hello.. long time no see I guess" Mara greeted disdainfully.
The man stood up from the host seat with a frown. "Who allowed you to come in?!" He raised his voice at his own daughter. Mara did not flinch nor move, she just stared at the man with a mocking smile. It was strange.
Normally, Mara Athena would not come to her father's house because she was scared of showing her face to her father. And also whenever her father yelled at her or raised his voice, she would flinch and hold back her tears in pain.
But now the young woman in front of them was standing at the place with a mocking smile, not even showing respect. "Lower your voice, old man. Your lovely son is shaking in fear" Mara chuckled as she raised her eyebrow at the young man who tried to kill her in the club.
Everyone in the room fell into silence.
