Beast world had three prominent seasons that are summer, rainy, and winter season. In every rainy season, beastmen hunted prey and smoked them to last for winter, because the winter season was considered the harshest in the beast world as all the animals would go into hibernation and the forest would be blocked by thick snow and would only melt during the beginning of summer.
Blake also would go into hibernation during winter when he was a five-star beast but after crossing that it was not necessary for him to go into hibernation but he used to do that in the past because of practice. But now he was thankful that he crossed the stars because he could still take care of his Lilly.
After Blake went hunting, Lyra started making shoes using animal hide, she put the thicker hide to make the sole and took softer ones and sewed them together with great difficulty, it was very hard Piercing through the animal hide but she finished them at last.
Blake returned in the evening with lots of prey and he skinned it and smoked the meat and then stored it in large leaves. After that, he went to learn about tanning the animal skin and only returned at night.
Lyra heard him entering and said "Go take a bath, you are dirty from hunting all day"
Blake chuckled, his Lilly was ordering him now. He would gladly allow Lilly to order him because only she had the permission to do that.
After dipping in the river he returned and found Lilly cooking food "Lilly you don't have to do these works. Get up" he pulled her up
"I'm bored and do not have anything to do, at least let me do the cooking" she replied in boredom
"But you are going through the heat and I heard females get tired easily during this time"
"It's not that of a great deal I go through this every month" she blurted out and then widened her eyes realizing what she said
He frowned "Every month? but as far as I know, it is once a year, right?"
Lyra cursed her mouth, did she have to expose herself like this? and started racking her brain to say something.
"Lilly, do you have some health issues? bleeding every month is not good. Should we go to the doctor?" he held her face in his hands and continued "No matter what the cure is I will find it or I can just remove the soul crystal in my heart and give it to you"
"What? what is soul crystal?" she questioned
"You know that I have crossed five-star level right," he asked
She knew that, Lucas once explained to her about the strength of a beastman depends on the number of stars on their body and also knew that having five starts meant becoming kings, but to cross that he must be even more powerful.
She nodded her head "Yes Lucas once me explained about that"
Blake narrowed his eyes listening another man's name in Lyra's mouth but didn't say anything and continued "So as I'm more than a five-star beast my body produces something called as soul crystal and it is here" he pointed at is chest
"It has the power to save someone and bring them back from death and it also has the power to cure any disease and conditions"
Lyra frowned, what does he mean by that? Is he saying that he would open his heart and give it to me?
"If you give that to me then what about you?"
"I'll die," he said bluntly
Lyra was furious listening to this "Why do you want to kill yourself? Are you done living?"
Blake blinked and answered "I'm also a part of that soul crystal. I don't mind dying as long as I can be with you" he wanted to always stay with her but if his death can save her then so be it
A big drop of tear escaped Lyra's eyes and after some time it started falling like a waterfall
Blake tensed seeing that, he wiped her tears away and hugged her "Don't cry Lilly, did I do something wrong? I'm sorry for making you sad"
This idiot! how can he be so selfless? We have known each other for only a small time and he is telling me he can die for me. How can I take this? this is all because of these stupid periods. She sobbed loudly thinking the reason
He became more anxious now "Lilly are you hurting somewhere. Talk to me, please don't cry" he didn't know how to console her, this is the first he had come in contact with a female
After some time Lyra calmed down and pushed him away from her and glared at him with red eyes "You! How can you say that you'd die for me that easily? Do you think I'm such a heartless woman? Do you think I'd rip your heart!!!?"
Blake went blank for a minute listening to her and then slowly started smiling, his heart was filled with warmth. His Lilly was crying for him! she was angry because he said he would end his life, then he went and held her in his arms and started kissing her lips.
He first started gently but then became rough and demanding with his kiss, he nibbled on her lower lip seeking her to open her mouth. Lyra was stunned for a moment because of the sudden kiss but slowly started responding to him and slightly opened her mouth, his tongue entered her sweet mouth and explored sucking her dry, she tasted divine he never did something this fun. His heartbeat was irregular and for the first time in his life, his body became hot.
His vision became blurry and turned into vertical slits, heat rushed to his lower body, and he became hard. He wanted her now, his beast was screaming for him in his mind to tear off her clothes and take her right now, he must possess her completely.
