Tan Hu and Tan Bao came up with a plan and decided to go to Qiao Mei's house tonight. Tan Jing obediently drew a layout of Qiao Mei's house with the locations of all the doors. She only had a vague memory of the place and could not even remember where the study was located.
When the house was being renovated, Qiao Mei had asked the builder to construct many secret rooms. This was something which Qiao Mei enjoyed doing. One might enter a room which looked like a small bedroom, but if one gently pushed the bookcase aside, one might be able to find a wine cellar containing Qiao Mei's collection of good wines.
Qiao Mei definitely would not put the ginseng medicinal wine out in the open. She had extracted a small bottle of concentrated juice, ready to be diluted whenever she needed. In particular, the 1,000-year-old ginseng juice continued to glow in the dark even with all the lights turned off.
