Chapter 33 - CH. 33: Bidding My Time

Heather remained grinning as the two adults tried to digest what she had just said.

"Did you just say Lishter Artillery?" Noah asked trying to calm his own breathing.

Heather nodded her head like an obedient child.

"Lishter artillery?" Logan asked this time.

"Indeed the young Lishter Artillery. Was there a problem with it?" Heather asked again as she couldn't understand the look they are having.

Noah scratched his cheek and glanced at Logan.

"Well, you see father is..."

Heather and Aldger looked at one anothere before looking at the other two.

"If I had known I wouldn't haev delayed my decision," Logan spoke up.

The two children could only tilt their heads to the side not understanding what wasa going on.

Their shock wasn't the shock of finding out that Heather has a company of her own and an Artillery one at thet.

Their shock was different fffrom the shock that her brothers had when she told them.

"Before anything else, let me ask you this, "I heard that they are trying to expand into a technological one but is currently unable to find some sponsors. Was that your idea?"

Heather waved her hands, "No, I also didn't get the chance to meet up with my friends for the past two years and only got to meet them again a week ago. When I heard that they were planning to bring out a plan we made in the past, I told them to stop and made them take a different turn instead."

Slowly the stern look on Logan turned into a smile.

"What is going on grandpa?" Aldger asked.

"Well, you all know that I fond of guns and somehow Lishter had a potential, was what I thought in the beginning. But when I heard that they are implementing something new when they just started rising, the thought of wanting to invest disappeared from my mind."

Heather gasped, "You were planning on investing in my company without knowing that I was among those who started it?"

"Don't be too happy so soon," he rebuked making her purse her lips.

"The reason I asked you that question was because if that was your idea to actually implement something new so early I would have told you to close the company after knowing that you are an owner of it."

Heather laughed sheepishly, that kind of action was so like her grandfather.

"Knowing that you actually made them stop and that the company is having a different project now then I suppose I can invest."

Heather grinned, she have not done anything yet but her company now has such a big shot of an investor.

Her grandfather was fond of weapons, he has a place where every collection of his was hidden. It was his hobby to have legal ones.

Logan squinted his eyes, "Could it be that because it was my hobby that you chose to make one?"

Heather shook her head in honesty. At the same time, if she said yes, Logan would frown at her.

If she was doing it for someone else's happiness then he won't accept it.

That was their grandfather's rule, search for your own happiness and don't think about the happiness of others more than yours.

"At some point during my time away, an idea came to me and my friends. The idea of building our own empire with all of our haobbies combined together."

"You like guns?" Aldger looked at her adn asked.

"No, I like planning and bidding my time. I enjoy it when I have no time limit. And a company is a good one. You can plan ahead and bid your time until the fruition of what you plan were to come."

She realized this as she stepped away from the fast paced lime light of the world.

She likes planning on things and slowly letting them be fulfilled one after another.

Though if she were planning with a time limit in her head, then she won't enjoy it one bit.

So the game she was having with Amanda? Seriously she knew she won't be the first to give up.

After all, she was bidding her time with her bigger plans.

"And one of us loves managing staffs while the other was managing the finances. Another loves tinkering while the other loves weapons. In the end, all of our likes were placed in one go and we enjoy our selves bidding things from scratch."

The three men in the room shook their heads in amusement.

Who would like their time to be stretched too long?

Other than her? They knew no one else who was like this, someone who loves bidding time.

"How long did you plan for the company before it begun?" Logan asked.

"It was after two years of brain storming, plus I have my own money I saved up from all the allowance you gave so I am also the one who brought out our first finances while the others managed the rest."

Two years is short if they are to talk about a big company but if they already have plans on the next step that they are taking, then two years is actually a bit long.

You have the resources and the capabilities, other matters could be taken care of so easily yet you still took your time in preparing.

"I'm amazed," Logan complimented.

"When I got the comapny it was already at its peak, planning for future arrangements were the only things I have to think about. Yet you who just entered her teenage years actually made such a daring move yet all I can see were potentials."

Heather happily accepted his compliments.

"Why didn't you wish to obtain our company instead?"

Aldger and Noah turned to her as well.

With only a few exchanges they can see the potential in Heather, her insights are great that one would love to have her as their consultant.

Aldger was willing to hand it over to her if she were to say now that she wanted it.

Heather smiled and shook her head, "I don't want our company."

Logan's face turned grumpy making Heather laugh.

"I didn't mean it in a negative way. I mean I wanted to spread my wings more. To know more things that I couldn't know when I was under our banner. Where people always say that yes I have this talent and that talent that I am worthy to be a part of the Relish Winery. I know my family does not think that way but the people around loves doing so anyways."

She immediately explained after seeing that even her father and brother turned grumpy.

"I simply got tired of listening to such words and feeling restricted by everything that I was born with. Don't get me wrong I know how hard you all worked hard for our family and I am very proud of that but I don't think it really is for me. I want to expand, to learn more..."

"And you can do that with your current company?" Aldger asked her seriously.

A once in a while seriousness that shows how important the matter was for him.

"And I can expand through this company, plus I loved how I started it all with my friends. How we will make it grow and expand, I'm really looking forward to that kind of development," she happily replied.

She had forgotten about this feeling when she started pursuing her promise but now that came back in time and got the chance to look at things differently, this feeling returned to her.

That's right, the reason she had included herself in starting this was because she wanted to fly more, to different directions, to different heights.

Starting from the bottom going to the top and staying at the top.

That feeling was what she wanted all along with her life.

"Well, since you are so sure with what you want now, I guess we won't ask anymore and simply watch over you," Noah smiled dotingly while placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Thanks dad."

"I guess I'll push through with my investment then," Logan added.

"Oh are you going to use your name? I mean yeah you wanted to invest without knowing that it was mine but my friends actually was the same as the rest, they still didn't know the truth about me being disowned."

"Don't worry I wasn't planning in the beginning since I didn't wish to put pressure on a budding company with my name. I am using a different person as a middle man," he replied.

Heather clapped her hand and rubbed them together, "Oh this is so exciting."

"Anyway, back to the topci we had before lunch. What are your plans now?" Logan said sitting down and drinking some tea she brought.

Heather started speaking of the things she had said to her brothers.

"You really are bidding your time arern't you?" Logan said after a while.

"I am because at this moment I am still in teh dark as to who was truly behind everything. I'd rather they won't be suspicious then when that time comes then surely we'll have more power to suppress them. Together with it was the fact that there might be more things going on that we are unaware of."

"Do you wish for us to look into it as well?" Noah asked worriedly.

"No, you all have stepped down, this fight I wish to only ask my brothers at the moment. But surely when things gets rough I will surely ask for your help. Just relax youselves and no that I am fighting with the intention to win."
